Ponorogo - Car Free Day in Ponorogo has been moved to a new location to meet the community's need for a representative space for exercising, such as walking, jogging, cycling, as well as for other community activities. Previously, the old location on Jalan Suromenggolo was no longer suitable for sports activities due to the large number of street vendors and the road being too narrow.
Jalan HOS Cokroaminoto and Jendral Sudirman were chosen because they are sufficiently wide and long, with spacious pedestrian paths. Additionally, organizing a new location for Car Free Day (CFD) is considered easier than renovating the old location.
With wider pedestrian paths, walkers will feel safer and more comfortable, while visitors who cycle or jog can move more freely.
Moreover, the well-organized and beautifully designed pedestrian paths, equipped with plenty of benches for those who wish to rest, make the CFD experience even more comfortable. Meanwhile, community groups planning to hold activities have been provided with ample space.
